Additionally, I designed——and managed the production of——integrated marketing initiatives, leading the team to create compelling work that elevated our brand and provided innovative solutions. In my 9-year tenure at Poppulo (formerly Four Winds Interactive/FWI), I created thousands of creative deliverables, including eBooks, landing pages, sales collateral, event branding, whitepapers, social media assets, email designs, internal & external presentations, pitch decks, promotional assets, digital ads, event booth designs, swag (t-shirts, socks, notebooks, etc.), product mockups, and more.

In 2021, FWI (Four Winds Interactive) joined forces with Poppulo, which resulted in a need for a combined brand. After a branding agency laid the groundwork, my team and I embarked on a transformative journey to elevate and redefine the brand guidelines, injecting them with vitality and character. Our relentless efforts culminated in a refined and expanded set of brand guidelines. Each addition and enhancement was meticulously crafted to encapsulate the brand's values, vision, and versatility. The result? A resonant and coherent brand identity, poised to make a resounding impact across diverse mediums and touchpoints.

GEARS

We delved into a reimagination of the gears, aiming to craft four cohesive emblems that represent Poppulo’s harmonious ecosystem: Productive, Engaged, Connected, and Inspired. We transformed them from chaotic & perplexing to beautiful & functional. An integral part of our initiative was to establish guidelines dictating how our reimagined gears should be utilized across various mediums. This meticulous attention to detail ensured a unified visual language across print, digital, and other applications, strengthening the brand's identity.

TYPEFACES

Diving deeper into typographic elements, we didn't settle for mere additions; we sought complementary typefaces that would amplify the brand. The introduction of secondary and platform-specific typefaces empowered versatility and ensured a seamless digital presence while retaining the brand's identity.

COLOR PALETTE

Expanding the color palette was akin to adding new dimensions to a canvas. With careful selection, we broadened the visual spectrum, allowing for richer expressions while adhering to the brand's core aesthetics. Simultaneously, our dedication to crafting accessibility guidelines was driven by a commitment to making the brand inclusive to all.

ILLUSTRATIONS, ICONS, PHOTOGRAPHY & INFOGRAPHICS

Our illustration ecosystem is a harmonious blend of individual brilliance and collective storytelling. Each illustration stands strong on its own, telling a unique story; however, when woven together, these pieces form a captivating narrative that embodies our brand. Whether viewed as a unified whole or as individual components, they resonate cohesively, communicating our brand's essence across diverse mediums and contexts.

Our curated icon set seamlessly integrates into the brand's visual lexicon, acting as powerful communicative tools.

The selection of a photography style was more than just aesthetics; it was about narrating the brand's story through carefully chosen visuals. We weren’t going to settle for cheesy stock photos—instead, we chose interesting, diverse, and exciting images.
